Cynthia has 24 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, community advocacy, including extensive expertise in benefit management.

As Pharmacy Director for Group Health Incorporated, she was responsible for benefit design management for one of the largest insurers on the east coast. She has held similar positions in third party administration for the New York City Union and Welfare Fund and with US Healthcare.

Her insider understanding of managed care and pharmaceutical benefit management and large scale drug utilization analysis has been a valuable asset as a consultant and advisor to the Pharma industry as well as patient advocate associations.

Cynthia also continues to practice part-time as a community pharmacist, an activity that provides her with a unique, "on the ground" perspective of today's issues from both sides of the dispensing table.

At Searle, Cynthia managed all strategic relationships and programs with east coast professional and patient advocacy associations. She also held responsibility for national relationships with all associations representing nurse practitioners. With her contacts and relationships, she served as a key consultant to the national sales force on industry liaison issues.

Cynthia also contributes her time and expertise as a community volunteer, lecturing on drug abuse and drug awareness in the New York City school system.

Cynthia has a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from A & M Schwartz College of Pharmacy at Long Island University.
